ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2001
Enterprises Computing Services, Inc. (ECS), a software development and services company, has announced the release of ECS StAR, Student Assessment Reporter.
ECS StAR is a software system that presents students' Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) results in report and graph format via the Internet.
The ECS StAR Florida Edition is designed to utilize the district's current student demographic data and state-supplied test results - including Sunshine State Standards and Norm-Referenced Tests - to create reports. FCAT scores can be sorted by school, grade, teacher, course, or section. Graphs show achievement levels for reading and mathematics. Users select the desired report or graph from their secure web server.
"At a glance, teachers can see the test results from last Spring for their current students," says Shekhar Iyer, President of ECS. "Borderline students can be quickly identified; plans can be put in place to address their specific needs. Test results are presented in a format that makes performance assessment, achievement tracking and curriculum planning much easier."
No conversion or additional data entry is required to utilize this web-based query and report system. ECS StAR is scalable, flexible and easily configured to handle additional data elements and reports. For more information on ECS StAR, please visit www.ecs-star.com or call ECS at 877-327-8060.
