NSW: Motorcyclist charged after 200kph police pursuit

A man will face court today after allegedly leading police on a chase through south-west
Sydney at speeds of more than 200 kph.

Police allege the 34-year-old Fairfield man was detected speeding on a motorcycle in
Badgerys Creek Road last night.

He was allegedly caught doing 98kph in a 60kph zone.

As police tired to stop the motorcycle, he allegedly accelerated at speeds of more than 200kph.

He then crashed and was arrested.

He's been charged with exceeding the speed limit by more than 45kph, dangerous driving
and disqualified driving.

He's due to face Parramatta Local Court today.
