QLD: Man in court over double stabbing murder

BRISBANE, Feb 8 AAP - A 42-year-old man appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court today
charged with the double stabbing murder of a drug dealer and a brothel madam last Wednesday.

Neil Morrison of the Gold Coast suburb of Main Beach left the Gold Coast Hospital, where he
had been under police guard after being injured during the incident, to appear on two charges
of murder and one charge of entering a premises with intent.

He was remanded in custody to appear again on April 14.
