TUNBRIDGE WELLS: School internet boffins have scooped the topprize in a worldwide maths competition.
Pupils from Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys scored themost points in the Global Maths Challenge online contest.
Students amassed huge totals on website MangaHigh.com, pippingAmerican rivals to first place. The school's head of maths GaryYoung said: "We are delighted with the impact it is currently havingin reinforcing the positive attitude of many of our students towardsmaths.
"The vast majority of our points have been gained by studentswanting to do maths in their own time."
